Theatre at the Village Hall

Almost a hundred people packed the VC Hall for a production of “The Mystery of Irma Vep” by the Angus and Ross Theatre Group on the evening of Sunday 1st November. Brought to the hall by courtesy of Centre Stage – Leicestershire County Council’s rural touring theatre programme, and organised by Bottesford Theatre Group, this was an hilarious production.

The play is a spoof of a gothic horror piece, in which the two male actors play all 8 parts – including an English lord, his fragile bride-wife, a swineherd, an Egyptian princess, a werewolf and others! (Look for the anagram in Irma Vep....)
The pictures speak for themselves.
